Striker Plate keeps comeing loose

[90civicrider]

The striker plate on the driver side door always comes loose. i have to keep a phillips head screw driver in my car to fix it at least once a day. How can i get it so stay and not loosen??

LOL! My '78 Civic did this all the time..Same story..screwdriver under the seat!

Yeah..what marked001 said..try some loctite! Make sure you get it set correctly and then get the door shut and let it sit overnight so the loctite dries with the strike plate in the correct position. There is more than one kind of loc-tite. The kind that holds that you can still break loose, and the kind that is supposed to hold and never break loose. I think one is red and the other blue...read the label!!!
